Learning about Guinea Pigs
In Year 2, we had the chance to meet the new Guinea pigs. Our Science lessons have been all about animals, including humans. We learned about what animals need to survive, how they change as they grow, how to compare animals and their offspring, and the different lifecycles of animals.
During circle time, we met Mummy Williamina and Baby Belle, and we were able to observe and identify the similarities and differences between them. Did you know that a female guinea pig is called a Sow and her offspring are called Pups?
