Pedestrian Training
In year 1 today we had some special visitors who helped us learn how to cross the road safely. We now know that there are 4 important rules we must follow when crossing the road.
First we need to stop. Then we need to look if it is safe. Then we need to listen for any cars or emergency vehicles. Finally we then need to hold an adults hand to cross the road. We made sure we always looked left and right while crossing the road to see for any traffic. We also learnt a fantastic song to help us remember the rules of the road.
