Autumn Welly Walk
Our Reception children went for an autumn walk which marked the beginning of their new project 'Exploring Autumn'. Children wore welly boots and went to look for signs of the new season.
They collected some colourful leaves, twigs, conkers, acorns and seeds. Our children created different creatures using the items they found, and took inspiration by our story 'Leaf Man'.
The children enjoyed finding out about the natural changes that happen during the season of autumn, including how the weather changes, why trees lose their leaves and how wild animals prepare for winter.
