Year 1 Rainforest Day

Children learnt about the weather in the rainforest, a few of the landmarks and some animals that live there. We made a range of water lilies, trees and flowers that grow in the rainforest then looked at some interesting facts about 4 different landmarks in the Amazon rainforest and then picked out the most important ones.  Next we created an animal from rainforest materials. To create them, we used junk modelling, Lego, pens, and pencils.
