Year 2 Curriculum Update
This half term, in Year 2 we have been super busy in all our learning, we have been studying about different 2D and 3D shapes, identifying and describing these from everyday objects in everyday life.
We have written beautiful tales on the Crow, retrieving and returning the magical colours that were once lost. We have been exploring the world- identifying different human and geographical features in different countries around the world and comparing them to our home city. The absolute highlight of our half term has been homing and looking after our chicks. We got the chicks as eggs, we watched them hatch, we observed, monitored and recorded their progress. We held them looked after them and loved them. It has been a fantastic half term and we are so excited for the next half term after a well-deserved break.
