Year 4 River and Rowing Museum Trip

On Friday 22nd April, Year 4 visited the River and Rowing Museum in Henley on Thames.

We enjoyed three workshops where children were shown how the water cycle works and took part in a range of tutor-led activities to demonstrate this process. The children were able to explore the different objects in the museum and go on a journey through thousands of years of life along the majestic Thames. Later in the day, the children enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the riverside to develop their knowledge and understanding of geographical vocabulary and explore the idea that rivers are more than a geographical feature.
