Remembrance Day
On Monday 11th November William Byrd commemorated Remembrance Day. We started the day off with a whole school assembly where the children learnt about what Remembrance Day is and the importance of people wearing poppies.
Children and staff showed off their poppies with pride and we raised an amazing £615.86 for The Royal British Region charity.
The whole school observed a two minute silence to show our respect to the Armed Forces community, past and present.
Thanks to everyone for their support and remember; you should never forget!
