  • Bedtime Story Bag & Reception Reading

    The children in Reception are very excited about the arrival of the William Bear. William the bear is the newest member of each Reception class. He goes home with the Superstars of the day and treats them to some hot chocolate and a special bed time story. Children eagerly await the daily reveal of who will earn this special surprise and try really hard to be the Superstar every day.

  • Eid Celebration Day

    This year Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated on Monday 2 May across the UK and in parts of the world. To celebrate the occasion in school we invited our children to come to school dressed up in their Eid/party clothes on Friday 6 May.

    Our children along with some of our staff dressed up in their fabulous celebration clothes and looked fantastic!

    We would like to wish all our families and friends, that were celebrating, a very happy Eid!

  • Year 5 London Zoo Trip

    In Year 5, we have been studying Emperor Penguins and the book 'Zoo' by Anthony Browne for writing this half-term. Initially, we learnt facts about Emperor Penguins understanding how they have adapted to live in such harsh climates.

  • World Book Day

    We celebrated World Book Day the whole week this year. Throughout the week children took part in many fun activities that really promoted a love for books not just for pleasure but for purpose too. The whole school including the staff got dressed up in their favourite book characters on the Thursday 3rd March, World Book Day, and everyone looked great!

  • RAF Museum Trip

    In year 6 we have been investigating our circulatory system and have conducted investigations comparing our resting heart rate to our heart rate after we did exercise. We also investigated the differences in blood flow when the circumference of our blood vessels increased/decreased. We saw that the wider our blood vessels (less clogged!) the easier it was for our heart to pump blood around our body.
