Thank you to all who donated the fabulous cakes to sell – the school hall looked like an episode from the Great British Bake Off!  Well done to Miss Darby for helping to organise and run the event.

  • Year 4 Trip to Verulamium

    Published 18/09/18

Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic day at Verulamium discovering all about the Romans!

The children dressed up as Romans, looked at what daily life was like in the forum, traded fruit and vegetables in the market and handled various pieces of Roman household pots, and equipment, even a skin peeling device!

They were spooked by skeletons in their coffins and amazed by the tesserae in some of the floor tiling seen in a real Roman Villa floor.

A tour of the museum help us to see what Roman men and women did for a living and what it would have been like to have lived in these times.

We all enjoyed a lovely day out and are looking forward to our Roman Day later in the term.

    Published 05/09/18

We would like to say a huge thank you to our friends at Heathrow Airport and JSA Landscaping who very kindly volunteered and gave up their time over the summer break to refurbish our Nursery and Reception outside play areas. Broken fencing was replaced, planted areas tidied and replaced and overgrown areas cut back. The volunteers also repainted all the existing fencing to ensure our children had a bright and fun outside area when they started at school. We are sure you will agree that it looks fabulous and the children were thrilled when they saw it.
