RAF Museum Trip

In year 6 we have been investigating our circulatory system and have conducted investigations comparing our resting heart rate to our heart rate after we did exercise. We also investigated the differences in blood flow when the circumference of our blood vessels increased/decreased. We saw that the wider our blood vessels (less clogged!) the easier it was for our heart to pump blood around our body.

We also had a very exciting and fascinating trip to the RAF museum and learned lots about how planes have changed, as well as learning about some of the planes which flew in WW1 and WW2. We also had an experience in a war time classroom - similar to the one we're reading about in our class book, 'Good Night Mr Tom.' We got to write using ink in an ink well on our desks.
